Product Overview & Working Principle
The SS430 stainless steel plate with 2B and NO.4 mirror finishes is a ferritic stainless steel widely used for its balanced combination of corrosion resistance, heat resistance, and mechanical strength. The 2B finish offers a smooth, matte surface produced by cold rolling and annealing, making it ideal for general industrial and decorative applications. The NO.4 mirror finish, characterized by a brushed, satin appearance, adds aesthetic value while maintaining durability.
430 stainless steel contains 16-18% chromium and has no or very low nickel content, making it magnetic and more cost-effective compared to austenitic grades like 304. The ferritic microstructure provides better thermal conductivity and a lower coefficient of thermal expansion. Titanium is added to improve weldability and enhance the mechanical properties of welded joints. This steel is heat and fatigue resistant, suitable for environments requiring moderate corrosion resistance.
